Venus

Venus is a 3 year old Great Dane looking for a devoted family. The name suits her well, Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty. She is a confident girl with strong ideas about being the queen in her home and therefore we are looking for her to be the one and only. Venus won’t be going into a home with any other animals. Venus is equally strong in her devotion to her people and is extremely loving and affectionate.
She has spent time in the show ring and with a confident handler knows how to be calm and well behaved. Her energy levels aren’t all that high so just a daily walk or run on property will keep her happy. Company is what she enjoys but if she has to be left alone, she is crate trained and can be left for short periods of time happily in her crate. Venus loves her teddy bears and will present you with her favourite one of the day upon your return.
Venus loves people when she knows they are welcome into the home but will certainly let you know when a stranger is approaching the property. Venus has basic training and responds well to instruction. Being a strong girl, an experienced large breed or Great Dane home will suit her best.
