About Jinxy ~ Border Collie x Kelpie (adopted 30/7/18)
This beautiful 8 month old Border Collie x Kelpie is Jinxy. She is looking for a foster carer or an adoption.
Jinxy is still a puppy and with that comes the puppy traits. Yes she needs some training, yes she can be a bit over excited and bark and yes she would like someone to love her and look after her.
Jinxy has basic training, she can sit, come when called and loves her treats so is happy to learn. This girl is smart and will pick things up quickly, she just needs someone who is a little patient with her and willing to give her the time.
Jinxy is toilet trained and has slept outside but would love a warm bed inside.
Jinxy is best suited for an active couple or family with children over 10 years old. She enjoys her walks but does pull so has a walking harness. She does get very excited around other dogs and hasn’t been socialised well so doesn't really know how to act.
If you are wanting a young dog, Jinxy is the girl for you. Please contact Sharron on sstudley3@bigpond.com.au or text 0423 331057 if you would like to meet Jinxy. She is located in Kahibah and is available for adoption interstate.
Jinxy’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
