About Lincoln ~ English Staffy (on trial 8/8/18)
Introducing this handsome man … Lincoln. A distinguished 6 year old English Staffordshire Terrier and a real gentleman and love bug.
Lincoln is a low maintenance dog that loves company. He is great with people of all sizes and ages; Yes, that includes children. He is currently living with and loving his little toddler foster human. He’s not a digger, barker or escape artist and has shown to be fine with other dogs, even though he is currently an only dog.
Lincoln loves being with you and since his escape from a cold country pound he has been allowed to spend equal time inside and out as he pleases and has proven to be very grateful and appreciative of this offering by not toileting inside or being destructive. But let’s face it; at the age of six, he is over being destructive and boisterous and as a true gentleman he knows his manners.
Lincoln is a real happy-go-lucky fellow who loves to please and is easily pleased. A daily walk is enough to keep him happy and is still important, even for a low maintenance dog to keep him fit and healthy.
Lincoln will make a great family addition and if there is already a friendly, easy going doggy member, a meet and greet will still be essential to ensure that they will “click”.
If you are looking for a gentle soul that will make your heart smile, Lincoln could be the one.
If you are interested in giving Lincoln his forever home, please complete the adoption questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx A safe, secure yard is essential and if there is a doggy member they should be desexed as well and up to date with vaccinations. Please send your completed adoption questionnaire to Olivia at horvat13@gmail.com
Lincoln is in foster care in Raymond Terrace, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Lincoln’s adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
