About Ruby ~ Kelpie x Staffy (on trial 12/8/18)
Introducing Ruby. Ruby is a 2.5 year old Kelpie x Staffy. She is a very affectionate loving girl and is currently living with a cat and another dog.
Ruby sleeps inside on her bed and just loves being around people. She will accept pats as long as you can give them! She can be left at home during the day but is better with the company of another dog.
Ruby is toilet trained, will sit and wait for food, however she does pull a little on the lead when walking. She did grow up on a farm and so doesn't have much experience at this but is learning quickly.
Ruby plays very well with her foster sister and loves to play ball or tug. She loves her food but is still very respectful of her sisters food.
Ruby is a very sweet girl, very timid and wants nothing but to be loved.
For more information or to meet Ruby, please contact her foster carer Vivienne on Vivienne.mcdonald@gmail.com or text 0404 404 441. Ruby is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Ruby’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
