About Bob ~ Boxer x (on trial 11/8/18)
Hi there my name is Bob and I’m about 10 weeks old and I’m a bit of a crazy mix but mum thinks I have Boxer and a few other types of amazing breeds in me. I’m a very cute and tough bundle of energy who loves to explore my foster family’s paddock. I love to hang with the chickens and muck around with the goat, I’m loving life. Everything needs to be explored.
I’m a very smart dude, I will take myself outside to the toilet and have worked out chewing on things other than toys isn’t a great idea and I’m already learning how to sit.
I think my perfect forever home would be one that has lots of space as I love to run and explore. As by the size of my cute feet mum thinks I’m going to be a large dude.
Special care is going to be needed with my skin with the high risk of sunburn due to my white coat.
Puppy training classes are recommend for all puppies. I will need a daily walk, toys, and interaction with people. Puppies are a big commitment for approximately 15 years.
I need to be allowed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. I will be great family dog and I’m suitable for children 7 years and older. I will grow up to be a medium to large sized dog. You will need good fencing with no small gaps.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for me as during my wonderful time in foster care I have had constant companionship of two larger dogs and I loved it. If you don't have another dog to keep me company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
