About Claire
Claire is a sweet and very affectionate pup. She will bond closely with her humans and will need a family who can reciprocate that affection. She is also a complete goofball and makes her foster family laugh daily.
She loves the company of the two other dogs she lives with but also does well on her own.
She is parkour capable and will need a fully secure yard as we suspect that she will grow into a medium to large adult dog.
Claire is crate trained and enjoys her time in the crate, sleeping through the night without interruptions.
Claire is eager to please, having quickly learned the basic commands of sit, drop, shake, on your bed and come here. Her training is ongoing and she will require further training and socialisation to realise her full potential.
Claire has a tendency to pee when excited or nervous. Though this is getting better every week, she will need patient, ongoing training with this. We are confident that she will be fully trained in due course.
Claire thoroughly enjoys going for walks, exploring new smells and adventuring around town. She loves heading out to cafes to meet with all the people and win them over, getting spoiled rotten.
She is very food motivated (even loves to sit hardfor her vegetables!) and takes her naps very seriously.
She will make a lovely companion pet to someone who will include her in their daily activities.
Claire is an energetic puppy and will suit an active family who are even possibly interested in agility, flyball or a similar sport if this is an interest.
She currently lives with two cats and has learned cat manners. She also lives with chickens.
Claire is an all round great hound - funny, goofy, energetic, affectionate, just looking for someone to relax with, be adventurous with and enjoy life!
