About Daphne
I am so excited at how far this beautiful girl has come along since first arriving into care. She has gone from hiding in a corner and taking an extremely long time to coax inside, to enjoying belly rubs.
Daphne still has a long way to go but I feel she ready to find her new home. She is a lovely, gentle affectionate girl who will need lots of adjustment time to get used to her new environment. While still cautious and not completely relaxed, she loves being patted and is constantly coming back for more. She is great walking on a lead.
Daphne is extremely calm but will still jump at sudden noises, which is why her new home needs to be not too busy and relatively calm and quiet. While she is fine with children, a home preferably without young children permanently around would be best for her. Daphne would also benefit from having another confident dog around, preferably another Golden Retriever or Labrador.
If you feel you are able to provide Daphne with the perfect home please let me know and we can work together to make her transition as smooth as possible.
