About Arya ~ Jack Russell x (on trial 20/7/18)
Hi my name is Arya and I am an 14 month Jack Russell x. I am a medium size girl with a wiry coat which sheds, requiring regular attention, brushing, grooming, all will help me look my stunning best.
I can be shy around new people and a little bit timid, but once I get to know you I won’t let you out of my sight. I love to follow my humans around and snuggle up on the lounge and watch tv or I’ll lay in front of you to give you a subtle hint that I want my belly scratched.
I have been in foster care previously with other small and medium dogs. I would like a home where I would with another similar sized medium dog or as the only dog with an owner that is home regular as I love all the attention.
I am toilet trained using a doggy door but need reminding sometimes. Also positive obedience training to ensure I become the best dog I can be.
I am great with school age children being an active young girl. I haven't been tested with cats or pocket pets.
For more information or to meet Arya, please contact his foster carer Kathy on kathyjones1961@hotmail.com Arya is in foster care in Lambton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Arya’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
