About Marley
Hi, my name is Marley.
I was surrendered to Lort Smith as my carer could no longer provide me with the attention and mental stimulation I required.
I am a sweet young lass with tonnes of energy, this is why going to a new home where I will be walked daily, given lots of mental enrichment and stimulation and taken to obedience training would be the best fit for me.
I do need to build some confidence as I can initially be on the shy side, so someone willing to work on this with me would be fantastic.
I would love to be inside and part of the family as I do love lots of cuddles, attention and affection from my human companions.
My ideal family would be one without young children please as I can get a bit over excited and boisterous and may cause unintentional harm whilst I'm still brushing up on my manners and self control.
I also need some socialisation being around other dogs, as I have not had much of this at all, I can initially be a little worried. Building my confidence and socialisation skills should be done so gradually.
I am not hugely interested in other dogs, I would much prefer to sniff anything and everything, I suppose thats the beagle side in me that is shining through, us beagles love to sniff!
I must admit, I do like to chase cats and birds, so a home with no small animals would be best.
If you think I sound like the perfect fit for you, please call the Adoption Hub for more information - 9321 7240.
