About Dax ~ Cattle Dog x Kelpie (on trial 11/8/18)
Dax is a friendly Cattle Dog x Kelpie x who is roughly 2 and half years old. This boy is looking for a new family who is wanting a great dog as part of their family.
Dax sleeps inside at nights and is currently outdoors during the day. He is toilet trained and has had basic training.
Dax would love an active family who enjoys exercise and would like a furry friend to take walking or running with. Ideally a good size yard or a property would be great for him.
Dax is amazing with kids especially little kids and he absolutely loves them so family time is a must for this young fellow. He also likes a bit of love and affection himself.
It would be ideal for Dax to be with another dog for company. He has always had a playmate! Dax hasn’t been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
Dax barks sometimes at things like a postie bike or whipper snipper. He does need high fences. He wouldn’t suit a family that works full time as he gets a little lonely without his humans around. He is a very loving dog. Could you be the family that Dax has been waiting for?
If you would like to meet Dax please contact Sharron who is taking enquiries for him on 0423331057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com Cal is looking after Dax at Cameron Park and is available for adoption interstate.
Dax’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
