About Cena
Cena is an 10.5 year old cream Labrador. Cena loves to follow you around and keep you company. She loves,to lay in the sun. She would love to go for small walks. Cena loves people and other dogs and has also been exposed to both chickens in a coop and horses.
Her elderly owner had passed away suddenly and she was surrendered into our care to find a new retirement home.
She is a beautiful girl who is very over weight. She started out at 53kg and is now 51kg and has lost 2 kilos so far in a few weeks but we are aiming for 10 or so kilos for a long term plan.
She is on weight loss program that is working. So whoever adopts this beautiful girl will need to continue with her weight management to make sure we help both her health and weight.
Although she is very over weight the vets have stated that her joints aren’t overly bad but she would do best with a clear weight loss diet and joint formula that’s taken daily.
Being a senior girl she will need to be allowed inside at night to be close to her family and would do best in a home that allows her to have both inside and pups inside access as she pleases.
Her new family need to understand that although she has a clear weight loss goal, it’s a long term management plan that she may struggle to succeed with.
Cena is sweet in nature and low maintenance. She is social with kids but would be best suited to steady footed kids in case they fall on her.
She is located on the Central Coast and her adoption fee is $200.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
