Lewie

If you are looking for an intelligent, fun loving, energetic pooch to join you in a life of love, adventure and ball games, Lewie may just be the fella you are looking for!

Lewie LOVES his ball. Or any toy you can throw and he can bring back! And he will retrieve from water, a tunnel or over/under any obstacle! He is super smart, if you ask him to put the ball or toy on an object, he will do so. Lewie doesn't just drop the ball at your foot, he throws it to you and if it doesn't land close enough, he will try again if you ask!
This boy could learn so many cool tricks! He loves to please and learn.

Lewie has a lovely nature. He is gentle and laid back.
He is good with children and gets along well with other dogs. He would like another cool calm doggy pal in his new home but it's not vital if he gets to be with his humans a lot.
Cats don't seem to phase Lewie, however, always on a leash and slow intros will be needed to ensure a nice cat/dog friendship. He has been around horses and doesn't pay them a lot of attention but will bark at them sometimes. With time and training he would learn to behave around horses.

Being an intelligent, working breed, Lewie will need a great variety of mental stimulation to keep him relaxed and happy. Training will not be hard though! He listens well to instructions and commands.
He will sit and drop and has a fairly good recall, though if you have a ball, he won't leave your side anyway, except to chase it!

Lewie is a truly divine dog who would love to be a real part of the family. He will be an amazing adventure companion - hiking mountains and bush tracks with you, chasing waves and sunsets walks at the beach, boating, canoeing, camping would all be just the sort of things Lewie would love to experience in his new life.
