About Bluey ~ Cattle Dog x (on trial 9/9/18)
Meet Bluey AKA Little Blue who is a 3 year old Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog x. Blue absolutely loves to cuddle and smooch up in a ball on the lounge or in bed with you! Second to that his favourite pastime is having a run on the beach or in tall grass.
Unfortunately Bluey hasn't been taught from a young age how to fetch, play tug or any other dog toy games, he does however love other dogs and playing chasies with them. Speaking of chasies, he likes to chase birds so a home without birds would be more suitable.
Bluey usually sleeps indoors. He is a clean and very affectionate dog. He will sleep at your feet and loves being cuddled closely.
Bluey is a smart boy and will sit and wait while you are at your favourite cafe. Bluey is not suited however to off leash walks near roads and can be unsure of other people or dogs. He can sometimes get spooked and will run away if let off the lead but will he return when called by someone he trusts. Hence Bluey's need for a slow adoption to familiarise and solidify trust with new owners.
Bluey isn't a very vocal dog and doesn't bark. He only yaps if he is left alone outside while everyone is inside (but who would want to miss out on that?!).
Bluey's new owners will be blessed to have him as he is a true loving smoocher. He loves being held and cuddled. He is very obedient and loves going for a run on the beach, his favourite this is chasing with other dogs and then curling up with them for a nap.
Bluey has high emotional intelligence and needs a home with plenty of human and dog interaction/activity. He would suit an active couple or family with children 12+ and with a dog home to keep him company during the day.
For more information or to meet Bluey, please contact his foster carer Robyn on robyngturner@gmail.com or 0466677524. Bluey is in foster care in Stockton, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Bluey’s adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
