About Turtle
What an unusual mix, Miss Turtle is! She’s a Daschund x Doberman and what a lovely natured girl she is too.
If you like a dog that’s a bit different, Turtle could be your girl.
Picked up by the Ranger in an outlying village, nobody enquired after her while she did her Pound time.
Turtle has the head of a Daschund but doesn’t have short little Daschund legs, nor does she have the long legs of a Doberman, nor the long body of a Daschund - she’s about my knee height and I’m not overly tall. Her coat is a glossy black.
A lovely, kind natured girl, she will even share her food with another dog. Turtle and Oreo, the Wolfhound mix girl (to be listed separately), can often be seen sharing their food.
Turtle loves to explore the garden with her foster friends. She loves people and is quite the smooch - lying on the examination table at the vets, the day she arrived, she kept nuzzling my hand playfully, then gently touching my arm with her paw, whenever I took my hand away.
Turtle is in foster care at Moree, NSW.
