About Rocket
Hi my name is Rocket. My foster mum says I am a well trained, very intelligent boy. I am so good with my commands - I sit and wait for food. Drop, go on my bed, go outside and inside and come when directed to. She says I am a beautiful, gentle boy and one of the most amazing dogs she has ever met! The minute you meet him you will fall in love! I love kids young or old and don't mind feline friends either. I am choosy when it comes to my doggy pals and I tend to prefer calmer dogs, who don't rush up and get in my face straight away - it makes me nervous which I am sure you can understand. So a nice calm introduction is best then I will run around and play for ages. I LOVE fetch and have a very have a strong ball drive and will chase and return the ball until the cows come home. When I'm having ball time it needs to be just me and the humans, no other doggos because it is my absolute favourite toy and I will get bossy. I love swimming in still water e.g rivers, creeks as I am very uncertain of the waves on the beach I love to come inside for cuddles and sleeping at night and over the weekend but am content to chill in my large backyard when the humans are at work. I amazing with my toilet training and will let you know if I need to go. My foster mum usually puts me out for wees before bed then that way I am good for the night. I am dream on lead when out for walks and I will touch noses and say hi to other pups on lead. Rocket is fostered in Sippy Downs.

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks sometimes more, we do a revisit and see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
