About Tilly
Stunning Tilly is a Blue heeler X Kelpie, approx 18mths old. Tilly loves to be with you, wherever you are, there she is right under your feet. She loves cuddles, pats and smooches. She loves smooches so much that she can sometimes become a little bit jealous of another dog getting pats so will need you to remind her that life isn't all about her.
Tilly is cheeky, and a bit of a princess who likes her comfort. She is not allowed on the couch at her foster home... but as soon as foster mum goes to bed.... well you know where Tilly sleeps!
Tilly loves to run, loves toys and a good tug of war. She has been in foster care with a border collie, kelpie and a silkie terrier and got along wonderfully with them all. She is currently in foster care with a kelpie x staffy and they have their ups and downs. I think both dogs are competing for their foster mum's attention and there has been a couple of scuffles about bones.
Tilly does have a strong drive towards chickens and would be best in a home that doesn't host free range chicken. Tilly jumps farm fencing but is fine with normal suburban fencing.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
