About Boof
Hi My name is Boof and I am a 3 year old beautiful blue boy. I currently live with cats and another 2 greyhounds while in foster care.
I am loving and friendly and think everyone is just my best friend. I am good with kids of all ages, but would do best with kids that are 10+ in age.
I am cat tolerant and don't mind them at all. I even move out of the way for them, because they have sharp pointy bits and I would prefer NOT to upset them in any way! (they can be evil ya know!)
I enjoy my other doggy friends and would prefer to have some friends live with me. i am good with either male or female. Female preferred because then I can feb the numero-uno man in the house.
I have a few quirks, but I think I am still awesome. I have "Sleep Startle" issues, but they are getting better. However I do require a home that is willing to work with this and understand me. What this means is, that you call my name and wake me up before you touch me. Thats all! I love my sleep and sleep so deeply that I have no idea you or other animals are around. You need to call my name and wake me so I know what is going on.
I think life is awesome and I love being cuddled and loved. I like my walks and socialise well with other dogs, people and kids.
I am ready for a forever home so if you think you might be interested, let the BTG Volunteers know! They will arrange a meet with me so you can see how beautiful and friendly I am.
I hope to meet you soon!
Luv,
😊 Boof
Medical notes
Sleep Startle issues - needs to be woken from sleep by calling his name before touching.
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
