About Gloria
Hello Everyone......I would like to introduce Gloria.... a petite little girl who has a very shiny black coat.
She will be two years old in September. She loves to play and do zoomies in the back yard. Her previous family moved interstate and could not take her so Gloria is looking for a new forever home. She has lived in a family home with a child and is fully house trained. She is clean inside and does not counter surf. You can leave your slippers by the bed and she will not steal or chew them. She does not dig in the garden and will toilet in her specially found spot just for her. If inside she will ask to go outside to do so.
She is very timid and nervous with new things, but settled into her foster home within a few days and her energetic, fun loving and affectionate side came out. She loves her daily walk, preferring to walk briskly with few sniffing stops. If you are used to a dog that has to stop at every fence post and tree, she is a real delight to walk. She is good on the lead but is scared of noisy traffic so homes that are located on busy main roads would not be her ideal place.
She is friendly with all dogs she meets but not cats or birds. She can be wary of new people and especially men. She will need to get to know them quietly.
Gloria loves to be in the same room as you and will take all the affection you give her but if you are busy she can amuse herself.
She is living without other dog company and can be left alone in the house for up to 5-6 hours.
If you think you might be interested in her, please send us an email - BTG.Greyhounds@bigpond.com or text/ring us on 0403 891 284.
Medical notes
had meningitis as a 3 month old puppy, however is fine and has no after effects.
Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 6-8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
