About Enzo
Enzo’s owners decided to surrender him when they were told he needed an operation on his hip joint to fix the pain he was having.
Since his operation and coming into care, tiny little Enzo hasn’t missed a beat. Weighing barely 2.5 kilos on arrival and being very thin, he’s gaining weight nicely.
He’s able to do everyday activities as normal - walking, running, playing, going up and down stairs. It’s not expected that he will require any ongoing treatment for his hip.
Enzo is richly socialised with other dogs and cats - he loves to play with the other little foster dogs in my home as well as entertaining himself with toys.
He’s crate trained and loves to retire to his crate for a nap and night time sleeping.
Enzo’s house training is going very well - for the first few days he wore a belly band when he was in the house to catch any leg liftings. Now he’s quite trustworthy and will take himself in and out through the pet door to toilet.
He’s a friendly, affectionate little guy who loves a cuddle. He needs to be predominantly an inside dog with access to the outside as well.
Please tell us who is in your family, their work routines, ages of children - if you rent, do you have permission from the landlord?
Where will Enzo sleep. Is there another dog in the family - if not, will Enzo get to socialise with other dogs?
Please do not enquire until all decision makers are on board. Also do not enquire if you’re not quite ready for a dog.
Enzo is in care at Moree, NSW. He can be transported to Orange, NSW towards the end of the second week of the school holidays.
Medical notes
Enzo has had his femoral head and neck removed. It’s not expected that he will require ongoing vet treatment.
