About Arlo
Meet Arlo
Being so young he hasn’t been thrown around a lot and is now settling into a well adjusted routine and thriving.
A sweet boy who adores other dogs and loves to cuddle and play. He shows so much puppy behaviour and just never knows how much love to give.
Arlo would do well in a home with a social and guiding dog who can both play with him and also keep him in guided line. He isn’t too phased by male or female dogs but an older dog for maturity we think would suit him best
He has met and interacted with various cats along his travels and has shown to be tolerant with these so may suit a home with felines.
Typical staffy he loves people and kids and would love an interactive home that wants to take him out and about. He will need to be allowed inside at night to be close to his new family and would do best in a home with safe and secure fencing 6ft and over.
He is also suitable to rural fencing and has shown to have good boundary manners with this.
A staffy experienced home would do him great but this isn’t essential. Being an adolescent he is still growing in both mind and size so a home committed to continued socialisation and training is best suited for him.
He would love someone looking for a best mate and would suit someone who works from home or works part time. But may suit someone who works full time who can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated.
Arlo is great inside, toilet and crate trained and is showing to have great basic obedience and loose leash manners. He also enjoys car rides and chasies.
Arlo is located in the lower hunter region and his adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
