About Sammi (CaV18-217)
Hello my name is Sammi, and I am very shy
People look at me and say “why, Sammi, why?”
I’ve had one home for all my life, a place where I felt safe
I never lived out on the streets, a homeless little waif.
But it wasn’t just me in my home, it was a crowded place
There were 7 other cats and I never had my own space.
We mostly all would get along, but sometimes we would fight
It stopped feeling like home to me, it just didn’t feel right.
My old home was a quiet place, no loud and scary kids
I’d like my new place kinda the same – a bit “off the grid.”
I’m a sweet and cuddly loving girl, once I’ve learned to trust
But that’s going to take a while, so patience is a must.
I deserve love and care and kindness, and everything the best
But you’ll have to work to gain my love, so let me put you to the test!
I have lived with other cats and also a large dog. I don't mind living with one dog or cat in my new home as I don't fight with them. But I need a gentle new friend who won't bully me like I was picked on in my last house!
I have always lived strictly indoors and I wouldn't know what to do with myself out in the big wide world so I would like another indoor-only home please. I'm ever so sweet, just give me a go!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
