Hiya! My name is Max! I’m on the lookout for my new owners.

My foster family tell me I’m still a big puppy and need more training once I find my forever family but I am eager to please so learning isn't difficult for me. I love food and cuddles so if you want me to learn something, make sure you have plenty of treats available! I have been to obedience training and got lots of treats, so I’d like to go back again with my forever family. I can sit and wait for food and come when my name is called…most of the time. I am toilet trained as long as there is a door open, but if I’m left inside for too long I can panic and have an accident.

I am a large breed pup and sometimes I don’t know my size very well and will jump on you for a cuddle. You just need to be stern with me and I’ll stop. You see, I am so full of love for my humans that I must be as close to them as possible. Sometimes I even like to plonk myself down on my humans’ laps for some pats and a nap. My new family could involve kids, but we would need to set some boundaries to make sure everyone is happy. I have also met dogs of all sizes and I LOVE to play with them all. I’d love to have a doggy sibling to hang out while my new parents are away at work.

My new family will need to be patient with me. I am still a puppy and can be a bit boisterous and spatially challenged at times, but I always mean well. I am told I have a lovely temperament and have a knack for cheering humans up when their sad or had a rough day. I really just want a family that will accept ALL the love I have to give…and let me sleep inside.
