On Hold
About Virgo (CaV18-205) *I'm free to adopt*
Well hi there. I'm Virgo White. (You've gotta imagine me saying that in a real deep, smooth voice... like Barry White, ya know?!)
I'm a big fella with really smoooooth moves. I'm an absolute smooch and a bit of a heartbreaker. Now, as you can see in my photo I had a pretty nasty injury to my eye. It was really holding me back and it was always sore, infected and weeping. Luckily for me that eye has been removed now - I was never going to see out of it again, so it's all for the best.
I feel like a new man now! Ready to face the world and finally have a home of my own. I did have a family once upon a time but they moved on and just left me behind to do my own thing (rude, right?)
I've spent a long time on the streets as a lone ranger just doin' my thing so even though I looove people and pats, I do need some patience and understanding from you as I'm still getting used to the idea of being a full-time house cat.
In my old days on the street, I picked up this thing called FIV. It's not such a big deal, it just means my immune system is a bit weaker than other kitties. It's not transmissable to people or other animals but I could possibly give it to other cats.
Because of my FIV status, my pale colouring and my restricted vision, I must be a strictly indoor-only kitty now (those are 3 pretty darn good reasons to keep me inside! That and it gives us more chance to cuddle). I'd probably be happiest being the only man in your life though maybe if you already have an FIV cat, we could be buds. I could get along with a dog too. I'm not suited to living with kids (I'm Barry White, remember - I'm rated M15+)! When you pat me the wrong way, or just pat me the right way and I get over-excited I sometimes give you a little nip on the hand. I don't break the skin and I don't mean anything by it! But little ones can get a bit put off, I've found.
I do a pretty cute little happy dance when particularly good things are happening. (Mainly food, that's pretty much my favourite thing ever along with pats). I look like a big bruiser but I'm actually a big squishy marshmallow.
Let me win your heart today!

Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
