About Rosie
A big, sooky, affectionate girl, Rosie adores hands-on attention - lots of cuddles are a must! The only thing that pleases her more than a chill-out day on the sofa beside you is an opportunity to learn - having already mastered 'Come', 'Sit', 'Stay', 'Heel' and 'Bed', this super-smart darling is always up for a new challenge!
Rosie looooves to share sticks and wrestle with her doggy friends (she's living happily with three of them in her foster home) - a permanent pupper pal in her new home would be a dream come true for this gorgeous lass!
She'd like to let any prospective adopters know that she's a very good girl (always obedient once you've gained her trust), she doesn't get spooked by storms or fireworks, and she can be left alone during the day as long as she can depend on lots of mental stimulation when you're home.
Rosie is currently working with a behaviourist on being more relaxed around people she doesn't know - she can be protective of 'her humans' - and will need committed, loving leadership to continue her progress.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm looking for somebody who will spend as much time as it takes to get to know and understand me, who will make me feel safe and loved, and who I can communicate with in that special way.
Some room to run around would be terrific, but as long as you're committed to walking me every day, or taking me to the beach or secure park for a run and a romp, I should do just fine in a smaller yard or apartment.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a very calm girl, with proper leadership.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love the children who I know well and who have gained my trust - so with a correct introduction and proper supervision, I'm likely to enjoy having young companions in my forever home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've been very friendly - in the nicest possible way! - with all the cats and dogs I've met so far.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
