About Sheeva
Sheeva was born 18.06.17. He found himself impounded in Cairns and the staff felt that he is a Shiba Inu cross, but of course that's not guaranteed as we have no idea of his parentage. He is a medium sized dog, weighing in just under 20 kg. Sheeva is an absolutely happy go lucky guy who loves life! He is super friendly with humans and other hounds although he's not been tested with cats or children but, with his temperament, we could not see them being an issue. Sheeva is getting the hang of his training and can sit, walk nicely on the lead and is learning to drop and will stay a little. A bonus is, he doesn't bark but talks a bit like a Basenji. Sheeva would be best suited to someone who will be home a lot as he loves cuddles and knowing what is going on or, perhaps someone with a youngish playmate he can fool around with. He does like gardening a bit, especially digging, but he's improving these skills. In other words, he's learning not to do it at all !!! Other than that he is an absolute superstar and his foster mum is super proud of how far he has come at such a young age. All his vetwork is done including desexing, microchip, vaccination, heart worm tests and worm/flea treatment.
