About Lokie ~ Labrador X(on trial 21/7/18)
Lokie is a beautiful jet black 2 year old male Labrador X. He loves life and is very social, active and adventurous. Lokie loves to play in the yard and home with the other furkids here and has been well socialised with those large and small and will spend hours playing happily or lazing about with his new found friends.
Lokie loves to spend time in the garden with you and will very excitedly chase the water from the hose, and pounce on it. Like most Labradors, Lokie loves the water and you will often find him playing in and around the outside bathtub of water.
Lokie also loves a good snuggle on the couch or bed. He walks well on a lead and knows some basic commands. We are still working on the toilet training as I think Lokie has been kept as an outside dog prior to coming into care.
Lokie loves people, is wonderful with children and would love a family to call his own. He loves attention and would be best suited to a family wanting to include him in all the family adventures, or someone wanting a loyal and loving companion for life.
For more information or to meet Lokie, please contact Cindy on cinadmil@yahoo.com.au Lokie is in foster care in Lake Macquarie area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Lokie’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
