About Zoe ~ English Staffy (on trial 15/7/2018)
Hi, my name is Zoe. I'm a 5 year old female English Staffy and I love you and I love you and you and you and everybody. I love being with people. All I want is a nice forever home where I can be close to you and we can keep each other company.
I do put up with other dogs but prefer not to play with them. I would rather spend all my time and energy playing with you. I'm house trained and don't mind sleeping in a crate or on your bed. My coat is short and easy to maintain and I love rolling on my back and having my tummy scratched.
I think that I would be suited to someone who is home most of the time or is able to take me wherever you go. I love car rides and sit quietly looking out the window. I also love going for walks with you and am very easy on a lead.
I am very loyal and obedient and know basic skills like sit, stay, lay down, shake hands and go to bed. I do not enjoy being left at home alone and I can get a bit vocal about it, but as long as I know that you are coming back, I will settle down.
I am in care in Port Stephens NSW area and am available for interstate adoption. You can contact my carer, John at johnpgid@yahoo.com.au if you need more information or fill out the adoption questionnaire. Thanks for reading my profile and hope to meet you real soon.
Zoe’s adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
