About Baxter ~ Jack Russell x Foxy (on trial 30/7/18)
Meet Baxter, a 1 and a half year old Jack Russell x Fox Terrier. I'm little man weighing just over 6 kg. He is the sweetest little man, that just loves your company.
He is almost toilet trained and will take himself outside if a door is left open for him.
Baxter currently lives with another dog and a toddler and everyone is getting along great. Baxter has been socialised at a dog park and gets on well with dogs of all sizes. Baxter has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
Baxters perfect home would be with someone that is home more often than not. He would love another dogs company, but that's not essential as long as he is socialised with other dogs and not left alone for long periods at a time.
He currently sleeps inside in a crate next to his foster brother.
For more information on Baxter, please contact his foster mum Melissa at melissapollo64@gmail.com Baxter is currently in care in the Newcastle area and is available for adoption interstate.
Baxter’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
