About Greymalkin the faerie three legged kitten!
Greymalkin was found on Mother's Day this year under a water tank, and rescued by a caring family. He was terrified and feral, but within hours he was purring and eating. His leg didn't work so he was taken to the vet and we were given two choices: euthanase or amputate the leg. It turns out this poor kitten had been tortured, no wonder he was so scared!
We asked our supporters for help and they contributed towards Greymalkin's $1000 surgery. He's recovered well and has started to play and interact with the other cats and his carer. He's still very scared of people he doesn't know and hisses like a fearsome dragon! You're meant to be scared and run away...
Greymalkin has superb pale grey tabby markings and big eyes, he really does look like a faerie cat (hence his name, it's auld scottish for a fae cat). He will need an understanding guardian who doesn't expect him to socialise with everyone, but is happy to let Greymalkin be himself. He will come out of his shell and when he does, he is a very sweet and loving little boy.
Greymalkin has recovered from his surgery and is ready to find his very own companion who'll love him and nurture that sweetness that let his rescuer pat him within hours of being caught. He has to much love to give the right person, is it you?
Medical notes
Greymalkin has ongoing issues and is on a long term course of herbs to help with his trauma, the herbs come with him and are administered with is food.
Greymalkin is a healthy raw fed kitten, he's been desexed, microchipped (microchip # 953010002511632) and her his first vaccination. His second vaccination is included in the adoption fee. Greymalkin is ready to go home with you right now!
