About Dolly
Mums are sometimes the ones left forgotten in the adoption picture, but we hope someone sees the loyalty, kindness and love that Dolly resonates and will continue to provide in her new home.
Being such a young mum we always worry that they won’t have that maternal instinct, something that beautiful Dolly sure didn’t lack. She has loved and cared for her beautiful litter of 8 ad even adopted a 9th puppy who needed some mum and sibling assistance.
Being just under 1 years old, Dolly is full of so much life and is ready for her new chapter in the world. She loves people and is playful in nature with anyone who is willing to play a game of chasies. She can be a little shy in nature to males so we ask for kindness and patience with any male owners in the home. But she has shown to be gentle and caring to young kids and has been exposed to kids 2 years old and over with no issues.
She is good with other dogs and would love another playful dog in the home. One to cuddle but also have as a playful companion. But we think with an interactive and well structured home she may even suit being an only dog.
She will need to be allowed inside her new home to be close and warm next to her new family as she just loves to know where you are and what you’re doing. She hasn’t been tested with livestock, small dogs or cats so we can’t completely say how she would go in a home with these.
She’s only a small girl herself around the early 20kg mark so is a perfect sized medium for her new home. She is some sort of cattle dog / kelpie / wolfhound blend and will need a moderately active home.
A walk a day with continued training and socialisation with both other dogs and people is best suited.
We’d say fencing over 5ft for safety, free from any gaps or holes. But we may accept rural styled fencing for the right home. Dolly is located in the Newcastle region and is almost ready to go to her new home now. Her adoption fee is $350 and applications for her will be accepted as of now.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
