About Joey
Joey is motivated boy, he loves to know what you want from him and what he can do to please you. So training is super fun and exciting both for him and with him.
He takes great guidance from the two older dogs in his foster home and has also shown to he both cat and kid friendly as well.
With regular and continued training and socialisation with the world, Joey will definitely continue to develop into a model citizen.
He would suit being an only dog if his new family are both interactive and inclusive with him. Where he can go out and meet new people and animals and continue his training as he develops.
But he would also easily adjust to a home with another dog who can both play and guide him. So an older stable and established dog would be best suited to this role.
He could easily live in a home with kids and cats and we think whatever animal he met he would be both social and friendly with.
Joey would need to be allowed inside at night so he can be close to his new family and he would suit secure and safe fencing over 5ft in height. But he may suit rural fencing for the right home.
Joey is located in the Newcastle region and his adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
