About Toby ~ Kelpie x Cattle Dog (on trial 15/7/18)
Hi, I am Toby and I’m a 1 year old Kelpie x Cattle Dog! I am the most loving and loyal little companion you’ll ever meet.
I love going for walks and to the beach. I am also a very good runner and can also fetch and drop it at your feet ( at least most of the time).
I am also very good at sitting when you command and patiently waiting for my food. My best feature would be my patches especially behind my ears … oh and my big smile when you come to pat me!
I currently sleep outside but do love inside family time. To be honest if I could have a spot inside to sleep I would really enjoy that. I have been taught to only do my business on grass.
I love other doggos and all humans. I may jump up because I am so excited to see you but it’s only because I love you so might not be good with children under 5 years old. I am very smart so I am sure I can be trained out of this.
I will need good fencing and a nice size yard to play in. I am a great guard dog but won’t bark without being worried for our safety.
I would be a wonderful new addition to your family and promise to love you and look after you. If you would like to meet me, please contact Sharron who is looking after me on 0423331057
or email sstudley3@bigpond.com I am located at Beresfield and I am available for adoption interstate.
Toby’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
