About Bradley ~ Mastiff X (on trial 6/7/2018)
Hi, my name is Bradley! I’m a 4 month old Mastiff x Staffy. I am a very fun loving, super friendly pup with a rocket full of energy. I’m always up for cuddles and I love giving kisses.
I can get a little excited when I meet new people, but that’s just because I love people so much! I love to play, but also enjoy my alone time and am happy to just take a nap or sit outside and sunbathe.
I love to learn new things and am a fast learner, with the help of my favourite treats. I’ve already learnt how to sit, lie down, go to my bed and I know to sit and wait for my dinner. I am toilet trained but do have to occasional accident inside when I’m nervous as I’m still a puppy. I know how to walk on a lead and love to go for walks.
I love to play with my favourite chicken toy and love to play is fetch! I have just learnt how to play hide and go seek and now it’s my new favourite thing to play! I am happy to play on my own with my toys, but I’ll always say yes to some playtime with my new family.
I would love to be let inside with my new family occasionally just to see what you’re up to and to make sure you’re safe. I wouldn’t be suited to live with young children as I do tend to get excited and occasionally jump. I don’t know my own strength yet as I’m still a puppy, but I just need to be reminded to be gentle and I settle down fast.
I currently sleep indoors in my own dog bed at night and am happy to sleep on my own. During the day I like to take naps outside in the sun or wherever my foster mum is. I have only met few dogs and I didn’t quite get along with them and my mum thinks it would be best if I started off as an only dog. I will grow up to be a large dog, so I’ll need high, secure fencing.
As I’m not yet desexed, I am only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because I’ll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when I’m approximately 5 months old.
If you think your home will be the perfect place for me to grow up and become part of your family forever, then please email my foster mum Reanna with an application form http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx on reanna.moore@hotmail.com I am currently in Newcastle area, NSW.
Bradley’s adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping
and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
