On Hold
About Phoebe Rose ~ Staffy x Cattle Dog (on trial 4/7/18
Phoebe Rose is a 9 -10 week old pup. We are not 100% sure of her breed, maybe a Staffy x Cattle Dog but whatever she is, she very cute and will grow to be a medium size dog.
This little girl is the best natured pup who is super friendly and happy.
She absolutely loves her toys and will lay on her bed to have a chew and play, so entertains herself quite well.
Phoebe gets on great with other dogs and looks to have a play. She is currently in care with two medium dogs and is enjoying their company. She also has a kitten for a playmate.
Phoebe has been crate trained, can sit, come when called and is doing really well with her toilet training. She will go to the door to say she needs to go out, she does have the odd accident but taking her out on a regular basis helps. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Phoebe needs to sleep inside and be allowed inside when the family is home. She would make a great family dog. She is sleeping either on her bed and the occasional night, on our bed.
Phoebe will need someone home some of the time until she gets bigger as has 4 small meals a day and will need this to continue until she 16 weeks old.
As Phoebe is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Phoebe has been an absolute delight to look and is waiting for forever home. If you are wanting a special little girl to be part of your family please contact Sharron on 0423331057 or email sstudley@bigpond.com Phoebe is in Newcastle area, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle).
Phoebe's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
