Hello! My name is Pongo. Would you believe it if I told you I’ve been in care since 2018?! I’m hoping you can change that for me.

Nature
I am an ex-colony cat who has lived on the streets my whole life, so I am still nervous around humans. I purr for my Foster Mum when I’m in a small room where I feel confident. I'm not so sure when I'm in the big open area of the house, but I’m getting there. I need a forever home that will be patient with me whilst I find my footing and learn to trust them, I know I will be someone's perfect lap cat companion, I just need a little TLC.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I love other cats and would love to have a friendly cat in my new home to show me the ropes and help me settle in. I have not been exposed to any dogs or children.

Likes / Dislikes
I love to play with my foster siblings and curl up and sleep in my snuggle bed. I do love a good cuddle sometimes and my Foster Mum says she is sure that in time I will make an amazing lap cat.

My favourite treats are Dine creamy treats, I also love a good scratch at the top of my tail and my belly.

My PURR-fect home would be nice and quiet, with a kitty friend to keep me company. I will need my humans to be patient with me and give me the time and space I need to settle in and reach my full potential!

Medical Notes: Pongo has environmental allergies and requires daily allergy medication to keep this condition under control.

Pongo had Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet. He was also exposed to cat flu, a respiratory infection, but did not show symptoms or require any treatment.
