"I'm Raven, I'm new into foster care and still settling in to my foster home. It has cats, yuk! I bark at the cats to tell them what I think of them. I like to chase the tennis ball but prefer to chase the other dogs if they're playing also. Not all the other dogs appreciate being chased though so I need to work on my manners when playing with other dogs, I just get really excited. Honestly I just prefer being next to my human more than anything."
Raven is one smart cookie who likes to be near her human. Raven is currently being fostered in a yard with 150 high fencing without any more escape attempts since those first day antics.
Raven has played with a number of other dogs while being in care but she seems to be more excepted by the goofy playful types. She has met children also. While being friendly with the children she needs to improve her manners and learn to contain her enthusiasm.
Raven doesn’t seem to have had much training before coming into care. She is learning, and her carer is being patient with her but her adopter will definitely need to continue to teach her. She needs to learn leash manners, dog manners and house manners.
Being a working breed, Raven will require outlets for her energy via daily physical and mental stimulation. Ideal applicants will need to have experience with the breed.
