About Hector (aka Hecky)
Meet gorgeous Hecky, aka Hector, a loving 10 month old cattle/Dalmatian mix. Actually you could call him what you like as he is deaf and it doesn’t matter anyways LOL.
Darling Hecky is a super friendly pupper and is very happy and loveable. He would love a friend for company, but he/she needs to be high energy and tolerant, as he just loves to play and play and play. Hecky loves people and although he hasn’t been around young children, his foster Mum thinks he would be fine with them. And his tail never stops wagging.
Even though this gorgeous boy is deaf, he has no issues such as anxiety and is not a jumper, digger or chewer. The only thing he is not a fan of, is doggy clothing lol.
Hector would respond well to further training, and is very smart and intelligent. His foster Mum thinks he would be very good at nose work classes.
Hector loves sleeping by the fire, loves food and treats, but is not so keen on baths or the hose. Hector is in the process of learning to crate train, but he would rather sleep in front of the fire than in a crate.
Hector would be best suited to a family experienced with deaf dogs or someone willing to learn and help Hector grow into a happy, healthy, well balanced pooch.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
