About Gretel
***ready for Adoption***
Gretel
German Shorthaired Pointer
D.O.B 10/6/2016
Gorgeous Gretel loves to please her human companions and is eager to stay in your company, she loves the attention and will happily apply herself to learning all that she needs to,to be a wonderful companion dog.
She does however get herself over excited at times wether that is because she has been uprooted from her old routine or is unsure of her new foster home surroundings, we are giving her plenty of love and attention and we are sure she will blossom into the magnificent dog that we can already see glimpses of!
Gretel is also happy to entertain herself once settled into her new surroundings and will happily play with her foster siblings or chew on a bone, play with a toy or sunbake in the garden quietly by herself.
Which is just as well as we have been introducing her to the foster cats while staying inside the house each night.
Gretel wasn't sure of them to start with and still wants to chase them, but she has been castigated a few times by the big resident male cat... so we'll see how it pans out but for the moment she is not cat friendly.
If you are after a true companion then Gretel would suit a young energetic family or a person who enjoys the great outdoors as much as she does!
Gretel is located in Echuca which is 3 hours north of Melbourne.
