What wonderful natured pair of dogs, so loving and relaxed, playful but not overpowering.
Bailey is the worlds biggest sweetheart, he loves cuddles and pats. He will lie on you if you sit down on the ground with him. He knows how to sit, drop and shake paws. Walking on a lead without pulling ia still a work in progress but hasnt had alot of practice as yet. Is great with other dogs, gets upset without Xena and sulks when she plays with other dogs and not him. Has been introduced to cats with mixed results, will bark and chase if the cats run, but not interested in the slightest if cat is not on the move.
Xena, is a sweet, timid at first, but very playful young lady. She loves to give kisses but will wait patiently for pats or to jump in your lap. Xena loves to play!! And run. And run and play. Xena comes to her name, knows how to sit and shake paws. Walking on a lead without pulling is still a work in progress. Xena has been intoroduced to cats, she would love to play with cats, do far cats have been unimpressed with this proposition.
Both Bailey and Xena are good with kids, Xena loves giving kisses, so kids slightly taller than snout height would be better. But both are very gentle for big dogs.

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
