Handsome Red came to the RSPCA through our inspectorate very skinny and scared. After lots of TLC from our dedicated team he is finally ready to find his forever home and a loving family to call his own. Red has come a long way since being in our care but is going to need a calm and consistent family who can put in the effort to help him become his best canine self. Because Red hasn't had much one on one training or socialisation in the past he can become over excited very quickly so his new owners will need to be able to provide plenty of positive based training and a home with clear boundaries as well as always rewarding him for calm and relaxed behaviour. He would love a home that can provide plenty of interesting mental enrichment to help keep his mind active and to be included on family adventures. Red is a sweet and social boy who will make a great addition to the family and at this time would be best suited to a home with older children. He could potentially live with an older mature female dog pending a meet. To help with Red's skin he is required to be on special diet that will most likely be for the rest of his life.
