About Nebraska & Nevada
Nebraska and Nevada came to Squishies as part of a mass surrender of 21 cats and kittens. The girls were in terrible physical condition and even worse emotional condition. The girls were terrified of people and it's taken patience and love to help them understand that no one will ever hurt them again. Nebraska and Nevada are extremely bonded and are looking for a forever home together.
Nebraska is 9 years old and has made amazing progress in care. She loves affection and attention and has lots of confidence once she is familiar with you.
Nevada is around 3 years old and was the most timid and shutdown of our 11 adults. We don't believe this sweet girl had ever been handled. Nevada is making slow progress, but is still extremely fearful of new people and will hide if able, though is happy for her foster carer to give her lots of pats in a confined space.
Although Nevada is still fearful and has some way to go with her confidence, the girls have made as much progress as they can in foster care and need to move onto the next phase of their journey, in a loving and patient forever home.
We are looking for a quiet, mature home for the girls, where they will be given the time and space to get used to their surroundings and find their feet.
Nebraska and Nevada are located in Wantirna South
Medical notes
Nebraska and Nevada go to their new home desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and current in vaccinations.
