Well Hi there, my name is Barney.
The reason I came to be at Lort Smith is quite a sad story. My human companion had to go into a nursing home and could not take me with them.
I am now on the search for a new home that is similar to what I was used to previously.
I am a shy boy and it takes me a little while to trust new people, so please be patient with me.
A quiet home with no young children, as I do get very scared of loud noises and business and someone who is home more often than not would be the best fit for me.
I have lived with cats before so it would be okay for me to go to a home with them.
Going to a home with someone who will help me work on building my confidence and that will be able to help me get my weight down, as I must be honest, I could do with shedding a few pounds.
