About Rosie ~ Blue Heeler X (on trial 14/7/18)
Rosie is a gorgeous 8 month old Blue Heeler X. Our poor Rosie spent over 4 months of her short life at the pound in a kennel but is now blossoming after being rescued, learning trust and feeling safe. Amazing the difference love and some TLC makes.
Rosie being a smart girl with lots of energy would suit a family with older children. She loves to run, swim in whatever water she can find and play with her toys. Rosie is great in the car, she is quiet and obedient.
Rosie enjoys walks on her lead and going on new adventures. She is housetrained using a doggy door and understands basic instructions. Rosie gets on well with other dogs, small and large after an introduction. She currently lives with Mini Foxies and loves playing, albeit sometimes a little too rough.
Rosie is looking for a home with a doggy pal, an active family and home often. She hasn’t been tested with cats or pockets pets. Rosie will require secure fencing, standard with all Dog Rescue Newcastle adoptions.
For more information or to meet Rosie, please contact her foster carer Doreen on doreen.newton2@bigpond.com or 0407 721 759. Rosie is in foster care in Singleton area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Rosie’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
