About Daxter **On Trial**
Meet Daxter. This sweet and lovely senior boy has had a bit of a rough life so far. He came into the rescue very skinny and had a few medical issues that needed attention. He’s had quite a few of his teeth removed, so care to his diet will need to be given in his new home. His food needs to be soft and easy to chew. He is very food oriented, but waits patiently at meal times etc.
All Daxter wants in life is a home that will welcome him in. A home where he can cuddle on the couch with his people. Daxter is fine being left but would ideally like a home where his family is home more often than not.
Daxter shares his current foster home with a dog and a cat, and gets along fine with both, although he doesn’t like being told off by the cat, so supervised introductions will need to be made.
Daxter has met kids but would prefer a quieter home as he gets a bit overwhelmed and frightened by loud and excitable kids.
Daxter is still very active and likes to play with balls and toys. Daxter would be very happy going on adventures with his new family.
