About Maxxi
This 5yo fluffy little sir licks a lot has done nothing but show us love since the day he arrived in to our family.
If you are a person/family/couple that has at least a few hours a day to give walks, cuddles and snuggles then you need Maxxi in your life.
Maxxi is house trained however has been marking his territory to show his dominance so a bit of work in this area will be required. He does love the indoors and will sleep almost quietly with his new family.
If you have a cat - we don’t recommend Maxxi. Whilst he hasn’t eaten ours yet he hasn’t ruled it out as a possibility. Despite our cat having successfully trained six other pooches - Maxxi still does not understand that they are not food.
He walks well on a lead but will go from 0 to attack mode in 0.1 seconds when passing other dogs. We’re working on manners.
He gets along well with our little female chihuahua cross, not so much with our big male Husky. He is possessive over us and will try to ‘protect’ us from the big boy who just wants cuddles too. We’re not sure if this is male aggression or big dog aggression...Again - we are working on this.
He loves loves loves his humans - and any others that care to give him attention. He is always up for a belly rub and will sit on command.
He will need secure fencing as he is a runner!
Maxxi is located in Canberra and comes vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, flea treated and wormed. Adoption does not include local council registration.
