Coby 💙

Coby....An absolute sweetheart who is learning to trust his humans and enjoy snuggles on the couch.

When Coby arrived, he was a confused and terrified little boy. He captured our hearts immediately, and continues to amaze us every day.

This handsome little man is in foster care with 5 other small dogs who he gets along well with. He's very playful and shows no dominance when playing. Coby can be a little fearful around new dogs but once he feels comfortable, he is a very friendly and playful boy, but does seem to prefer the company of female dogs.

Coby is very timid and scared of loud noises. He has had limited human interaction but is learning that humans are safe, and now looks for affection from his foster family. He enjoys sleeping in his crate at night and also uses the crate during the day as a place to rest or go, if he is feeling anxious or scared.

Coby is an intelligent, affectionate little boy and once you gain his trust, he will be your snuggle buddy on the couch. He is semi house trained, so will need ongoing training with this in his new home.

The ideal home for Coby would be with kids and another small, friendly dog (preferable female), so that he had a companion/buddy to play with. Having another dog in his forever home will also help build his confidence. We would not recommend pocket pets around Coby, but he has not appeared too interested in birds while in foster care. Coby will need a gentle, calm home where he will continue to learn that humans are safe.

Coby has had all his vet work done and now ready to start searching for his forever home. He is in foster care in Toukley, on the Central Coast, NSW.
