Irani

This sweet girl Irani has an incredibly gentle nature.

She is a large dog who definitely needs a home where she will get a nice long walk each day or a big run around the dog park! Irani is very dog friendly and loves going to the dog park where she makes pals with everyone there (human and dog!). She loves playing fetch with a ball and once she’s had her daily exercise she’s pretty chilled out and will have a long snooze.

Due to her size she is fairly strong and would suit a household without small children because she can accidentally knock them over when she goes over for a pat or cuddle. She is, however, very child friendly and generally is a gentle dog with a beautiful personality.

She is toilet trained and knows the commands ‘sit’, ‘wait’, ‘paw’ and ‘lie down’. She also walks on heel and responds well to whistling or ‘come’ to get her to come back to you. She does not jump up on anyone and she also doesn’t jump onto any furniture. At night time she takes herself to her bed and will sleep until she is woken up in the morning by her human!

Irani would prefer to be an inside dog where she can be a part of the family and go on family adventures with you. She would be fine as the only dog in the house provided you are around often but would also suit a house with another dog.

She is a very well behaved dog who is totally motivated by love and praise over food, and although she can be left for a few hours at a time, she does get a little bit stressed when left so she would suit a home where someone could be home a lot of the time. This beautiful girl is just looking for a home where she will get lots of exercise and lots of love!

Her new family needs to be committed to making her a real part of their family and including her in their daily activities. She'll need at least an hour walk each day and a good run around with other dogs regularly, will keep her a happy girl. She would ideally do well with another dog at home for company or someone home most days.
