Poppy arrived at the RSPCA extremely skinny and very scared. Poppy has had a pretty rough start to life and as a result she struggles trusting new people. Because of this it will be important for her new owners to never rush Poppy into any new situations, everything must be at a slow gradual pace so that she can gain her confidence and create positive associations with new experiences. She is a sweet natured girl with a heart of gold who is looking for a loving family who can provide a calm home and appropriate leadership and plenty of positive based training to help her to become her best canine self. Poppy enjoys being around humans more than other dogs and would happily be the only fur baby of the family but could also potentially live with another calm male dog pending a meet and at this time would be best suited to a home with no children.
