Lotus is a gorgeous 9 week old Whippet x Kelpie puppy that is child, dog and cat friendly.
She has been desexed, wormed and given her first vaccination.
Lotus always wants a cuddle and will happily sit on your lap and sleep. She gets on well with other dogs, loves to play and doesn’t mind the family cat either.
Lotus will most likely grow up to be a medium sized dog. She has a beautiful fawn coat and gorgeous eyes that are outlined in black. Being part Kelpie, she will have a lot of energy and need a good walk, preferably a run off-lead, every day. She is already demonstrating she will be a particularly loyal, smart and alert dog - as a part working breed she will be highly trainable.
Lotus’ toilet training and obedience training is coming along well. She sleeps inside at night in a crate. Puppy-training classes are recommended to give Lotus the best start in life.
Lotus would love to have another dog to keep her company or someone that is home most of the time. She would like to find a family who enjoys having their dog be part of all aspects of their life, from weekend outings to cuddling up inside in the evenings. As an active breed, she will need a decent sized yard with good fencing.
She is currently living in foster care with 2 Italian Greyhounds, a Westie, a cat and 4 children.
