About Bonnie
Can you imagine? We are in our senior years and we find ourselves in need of a new home due to family illness. This is very sad for us as we have all lived together our whole lives.
I am Bonnie and my friend is Buster. I'm the cute tan and white one. I really want to stay with my friend Buster as we have been together since we were puppies. That's 10 long and happy years.
We are used to having the run of the house as we have a doggie door. This means we can go outside when we want, but then come back inside if it's cold or wet outside. This is really good for us. We have a lovely fenced garden outside to play in. But inside we sleep together in our doggie bed usually in the lounge room where it's warm in Winter and cool in Summer.
We are very well behaved as we are toilet trained and use the doggie door to go outside when we need to.
I am a beautiful girl don't you think? I love it when our little friends, aged 5 and 7, come over to visit. Sometimes I get a bit excited and might jump up or bark when visitors arrive because I'm happy, but this doesn't last long. I genuinely like people but haven't had much experience with other dogs except my best mate Buster. I haven't actually lived with children however I do love them. But I definitely don't like cats.
I'm not left at alone much nowadays, but when I am I'm very well behaved and everything will be just as you left it when you come back home. I respond well to "sit".
Unfortunately I haven't been on regular walks lately but I might like to do this again like I used to. I'm also unsure about how I would go in a car. I am very keen on my 2 meals a day though.
We are just a couple of dogs who need someone to love us like we are used to. We just want to spend time with you and in return we will love you right back. My behavioural assessment will happen soon and I will keep you updated about it.
So if you think you can offer us a good forever home where you'll be able to give us all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!

Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
